Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our client's team in the Construction industry. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for state and federal tax reporting, WIP (Work in Progress) reporting, preparing work papers, and supporting the Controller and other entities. This role involves day-to-day accounting tasks, including some accounts payable/accounts receivable (AP/AR), billings, and cash management.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000
Location: Indianapolis, IN (Onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Manage state and federal tax reporting.
- Conduct WIP reporting to assess project progress and financial status.
- Prepare work papers and collaborate closely with the Controller.
- Support other entities with financial insights and recommendations.
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR.
- Manage billings and cash management processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Accounting degree required.
- Experience working with revenue of $40-$50 million or higher.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Construction experience.
