The Copywriter will plan and develop language for both internal and external audiences. This member of the marketing team assists in writing engaging content, as well as works cross-functionally with other departments to provide pertinent company news and information relevant to all our audiences. The high-energy Copywriter is an excellent communicator in all formats and has a passion for crafting impactful content that keeps our audiences informed and inspired. A talented wordsmith who has a high attention to detail and can develop error-free, on-time communications will succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit clear and engaging content for our growing enterprise, tailoring information by brand for various audiences ranging from skilled laborers to executive leadership at our enterprise and for prospective partners.
  • Develop communications content for websites, emails, text messages, posters, print ads, presentations, scripts, and any other various projects as they come up. communications for the enterprise, writing, editing, and proofreading for a variety of projects and for a variety of audiences.
  • Be the voice of our brands, using established tone and language, evolving over time to fit the growing nature of our enterprise.
  • Coordinate appropriate levels of reviews and approvals of communications and messaging, ensuring deadlines are met for timely distribution for materials.
  • Think creatively on connecting with our widespread workforce and audience base with various forms of communication styles.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the team and other departments on scripts for Learning Management System (LMS) and other internal training videos.
  • Proofread a wide variety of project deliverables.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party partners on written communication for public relations, as needed.
  • Use the team project management tool (ClickUp) to track projects.
  • Update and keep a finger on the pulse of interdepartmental communications efforts to maintain a variety of content for our audiences.
  • Collaborate and communicate with team leaders and various departments, including senior leadership, to develop and maintain appropriate messaging that fits the needs of the business.
  • Consistently contribute to the ongoing evolution of our enterprise and the communication throughout it through various forms of technology to maximize reach and impact.
  • Actively research industry-related news and client-related news to make sure we are maintaining an industry-leading stance.
  • Analyze engagement rates on communications efforts to constantly improve our approach.

  • You are a team player. You are a positive contributor in the creative process and can work closely with others to execute the marketing teams’ objectives.
  • You have a growth mindset. You’re always looking to improve, grow, and educate yourself, whether it’s your marketing skills or personal goals.
  • You can maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive communications with employees and external agencies.
  • You have an advanced skillset in using Microsoft Office and experience using a project management software, such as ClickUp.

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications or relevant experience with a passion to learn and grow
  • 3 years’ experience in writing, editing, and distributing content
