The primary function of the Human Resources Business Partner is to support our Craft team in driving the culture, engagement, and values to our growing workforce. The Human Resources Business Partner role will focus heavily on partnering with the business to make sound decisions while equally preparing teams for company growth. The Human Resources Business Partner will closely partner with the People Experience Manager to idealize, plan, and implement various culture initiatives to assist with the growth and development of employees, team and the company. The ideal candidate will be service oriented and continually will want to strive to better the employee experience.

Responsibilities
- Influence entry to middle management leadership through effective partnerships to make decisions that represent our culture and values.
- Performs employee relation functions (e.g., dispute resolution, performance issues, termination requests, employee conduct investigations, etc.).
- Guides and coaches leaders through progressive discipline process for entry to mid-level positions, including the development and delivery of performance improvement plans and/or progressive disciplinary strategies on employee relations issues up to and including termination.
- Leads investigations, including communication/implementation of outcomes/decisions. Assist People Experience Manager with more complex investigations.
- Lead by example and promote Nox Group policies and procedures with employees up through middle management.
- Influence and advise employees to solve business problems, new and potentially complex business tasks, and issues based on Nox Group core values.
- Develop and adapt HR projects to best support business goals.
- Customize and deliver relevant communications to targeted audiences.
- Create and facilitate training as needed.
- Partners with appropriate teams to administer onboarding (first 90-days), employee experience initiatives, wellness, and learning and development programs.
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with client groups to help guide positive employee interactions.
- Coordinate and implement standard engagement processes with client groups.
- Assist teams in applying tools to improve performance, engagement and retention by educating leaders and employees on their roles and responsibilities.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring talent and performance management activities including, but not limited to coaching forms, performance evaluations, individual development plans, engagement pulses, and more.
- Partner with leaders and the recruitment team to effectively hire top talent.
- Train leaders on how to effectively utilize our performance management tools and systems.
- Ensure standard performance and development processes are in operation (i.e., meeting deadlines, utilizing tools to full potential, high quality, etc.).
- Train others on how to create meaningful and effective development plans.
- Partner with leaders to apply basic theories of change management, team building, effective communication, coaching, mentoring, leadership development, and facilitation.
- Partners with Human Resources Associates to stay updated on relevant information, diagnose issues, and apply solution strategies where needed
- Own implementation, education, and full life cycle of ADA, Fit for Duty, and Leave of Absence needs
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Full Office Suite
- Bi-lingual in Spanish/English is strongly preferred
- Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information
- At least 3 years of progressive HR experience heavy in employee relations
- Has supported/advised client groups of over >900 employees or strong construction HR experience
- Comfortable working in a construction environment (50% on job site/50% in office)
- Comfortable travelling to job sites within AZ (fuel reimbursement available)
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred but not required
