Alternative Investment Fund Analyst Internship

We’re seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst Intern to support investment research, financial modeling, and performance reporting in private market alternative investments. This is a data-driven, research-heavy role designed for someone passionate about diving deep into financial models, private credit opportunities, and portfolio analytics.

As an intern, you’ll collaborate with professionals in private equity, credit, and real assets to track fund performance, analyze risk, and create institutional-quality investment reports. Your work will help shape insights for investors navigating private markets.

• Conduct research on private credit, private equity, and alternative investment funds
• Assist in performance tracking, financial modeling, and risk assessment
• Analyze financial data and fund structures, identifying key investment trends
• Work with real-world investment data to provide portfolio insights

• Develop institutional-quality investment reports similar to industry standards
• Synthesize complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
• Track and analyze market trends in alternative investments and private credit
• Present findings in a structured, data-driven manner for investment professionals

• Ensure all research and reporting tasks are completed on schedule
• Collaborate with a team of financial analysts and industry professionals
• Maintain structured workflows using project management tools



• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and formulas
• Understanding of financial statements, investment performance metrics (IRR, MOIC, TVPI), and fund structures
• Familiarity with private credit, private equity, and alternative investments is a plus
• Experience with financial research platforms like Bloomberg, PitchBook, Preqin, or Capital IQ is a bonus
• Proficiency with advnaced AI prompt engineering is mandatory
