Job description : Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Director of Accounting facilitates all finance and accounting functions for this MGA located in the Roswell, GA area. The position will have a key role in the decision-making process impacting all facets of the business in advising the CEO of operations. Our business is a start-up entity and will require the Director to handle all aspects of accounting from cash applications through period-end financial close. Qualifications :
- Insurance industry experience is required.
- Candidate should be familiar with preparation of a bordereaux.
- GL maintenance
- Monthly reconciliations
- Subledger accounting
- Month-end close
- Financial statement preparation
