Job description :
- Assist the firms lawyers with daily tasks, performing administrative duties, filing, and interacting with clients.
- Drafting correspondence, litigation pleadings, and court filings
- Participate in Will signings and assist in estate plan document drafting
- Handle attorneys calls, greet clients, and manage front desk operations
- Support office tasks like copying, proofreading, and mail sorting; maintain physical and electronic filing systems
- Coordinate office supplies, manage inventory, and maintain organization
- Assist in marketing efforts, including managing LinkedIn posts, preparing, and sending email blasts, managing updates to the firms website, preparing newsletters, and designing event flyers Qualifications :
- Able to work independently and should have excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills in drafting and proofreading legal documents, as well as, estate planning documents, along with any / all correspondences.
- Organizing, and maintaining files and assisting with marketing activities.
- Prior litigation and e-filing experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of LinkedIn and Constant Contact is a plus.
- 2-3 years of previous legal assistant experience, litigation, and e-filing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
