Job description : This role can be based in Groton CT or Arlington VAWe are looking for a Structural & Shock Analysis Engineer to work on Maritime engineering programs.You must have 3-8 years in the Navy Industry.We're looking for candidates with these skills : Underwater Shock ModelingShock AnalysisDDAMUNDEXExperience with shock physics, survivability, underwater explosions and weapon effectsPreferred previous employment locations : Newport News, Carderock, Cardinal Engineering, Weidlinger, Gibbs&Cox, Bath IronworksWe work on exciting, technically challenging, research & development programs where multidisciplinary teams work closely to address difficult national security needs. This position will allow applicants to collaborate with subject matter experts and make meaningful contributions to project teams and their objectives. It will give applicants exposure to all parts of the R&D process, from first-principle analysis through to prototyping and testing of integrated systems.
