Job Overview
We are seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement, negotiate supplier contracts, and ensure cost-effective, high-quality purchases in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards. Responsibilities include evaluating suppliers, analyzing market trends, managing purchase orders, and resolving supply issues. The role also involves maintaining procurement records and providing reports to management.
Responsibilities
1. Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services.
2. Perform other functions from time to time requested by upper management
3. Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives.
4. Purchase the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts in accordance to ISO 9001;2015
5. Research and evaluate suppliers, based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputation and history.
6. Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices.
7. Maintain and review computerized or manual records of purchased items, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories.
8. Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time, and resolve problems related to undelivered goods.
9. Review catalogs, industry periodicals, directories, trade journals, and Internet sites and consult with other department personnel to locate necessary goods and services.
10. Monitor changes affecting supply and demand, tracking market conditions, price trends, or futures markets.
11. Prepare and submit reports as to all the above functions and activities as requested by upper management

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
