What Youll Be Doing
Initially, youll support upcoming labor contract negotiations and take on diverse responsibilities typical of a Human Resources Business Partner, supporting all employees.
- Work alongside an experienced labor relations leaders to prepare for a smooth contract renewal process. Youll participate in preparations and serve as second chair, interacting with a union that has a positive relationship with this employer.
- Manage grievance procedures and labor relations investigations.
- Serve as a strategic HR partner, contributing to the long-term strength of relationships with employees.
- Contribute to various HR functions including: employee relations, workforce planning, HR compliance, performance management, training, and HRIS data management, metrics, and reporting.
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training initiatives.
- Provide coaching and support to leadership and employees on HR matters.
- Participate in an occasional on-call rotation, as needed.
What Youll Bring to the Job:

- Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in Human Resources or related field.
- 10 years of HR Generalist, Management, or HRBP experience
- 5-7 years working in union labor relations, supporting 24/7 operations, ideally within Manufacturing or Logistics companies. Must have direct experience with grievance dispute resolution and labor contract negotiations.
- A history that includes HR Generalist activities and best with full lifecycle HR experience.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. (Experience with Paylocity is a plus)
- Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
