Job Description
Our client is seeking two paralegals to join their Pasadena office. This role involves extensive legal writing, drafting motions, and engaging in a back-and-forth process with courts, attorneys, and clients. A diverse legal background and litigation experience are highly beneficial.
- Draft and review motions, pleadings, and legal documents
- Conduct legal research and gather supporting case law
- Assist in judgment enforcement, including post-judgment filings and motions
- File pleadings, including e-filing, in both state and federal courts
- Investigate case facts to assist with negotiations and legal strategies
- Manage case files and ensure compliance with legal procedures
- Communicate effectively with attorneys, court clerks, sheriffs offices, and clients
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in an organized system
- 3 years of paralegal experience (litigation background preferred)
- Strong legal writing skills with attention to detail
- Experience with judgment enforcement and post-judgment motions is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, and legal technology tools
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills for interacting with courts and legal professionals
- Paralegal certification is a plus
