The Senior Mechanical Project Engineer will provide design of machinery and equipment used in steel manufacturing. Develop and improve upon designs and conduct mechanical analyses .
Relevant and recent experience in machinery and equpment design in steel mill applications.
Some project experience
4 year engineering degree desired, prefer mechanical.

The Senior Mechanical Project Engineer will provide design of machinery and equipment used in steel manufacturing. Develop and improve upon designs and conduct mechanical analyses .
- Design new machinery and equipment utilize in steel mill environments.
- Create mechanical drawings, calculations, sketches, for on-going projects.
- Develop specifications/requisitions for support of purchasing activities
- Review and approve purchasing quotations, vendor drawings, and QA documents.
- Analyze designed and vendor supplied equipment for adherence to engineering specifications, required codes & standards, and project requirements.
- Select and provide direction to external contractors
