Job Summary
To expand market share within the targeted market by leveraging both existing and new customer opportunities. This role will manage multiple accounts across diverse market segments, with a primary focus on delivering exceptional customer satisfaction, fostering long-term relationships, and maximizing business opportunities. Primary Job Responsibilities
• Responsible for business development and growth of accounts in the assigned market segments - High-Performance, Engine Builders/Rebuilders and Warehouse Distributors.
• Prepare all appropriate inputs for customers including product, price, terms and conditions, and implement agreed-upon outcomes. Take charge in customer negotiations.
• Prepare monthly and annual sales forecasts for each assigned account.
• Prepare a variety of reports, proposals and presentations.
• Develop and implement short-term and long-term strategic plans to profitably grow sales in assigned accounts and in the assigned market segments.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends and determine performance of each account and identify opportunities for growth.
• Know and understand the competition: their policies, programs, strategies, pricing, strengths, and weaknesses. Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and respond accordingly.
• Provide sales training, technical training and technical support for the customer base.
• Visit customers, prospects, attend trade shows and other industry events.
• Collaborate with other team members to address customer concerns, complaints, shipment expectations, order status, collections and other issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
• This job is performed primarily in a climate-controlled office environment and partly in a climate-controlled production area with active machinery.
• Due to schedule and production requirements, non-standard work schedules such as weekends and/or holidays may be required.
• Required PPE includes safety shoes (steel or metatarsal-toe) and safety glasses while working in the production area.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
• Must perform routine, repetitive tasks at times.
• Requires above average typing and frequent use of a computer screen.
• Must remain stationary for long periods of time and or frequently move around the facility.
• Travel 20-25%, including domestic and international trips (overnight travel).
Job Qualifications
The following are qualifications that define the ideal candidate for this position:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in the automotive aftermarket industry, preferably with engine parts.
- Minimum of two (2) years of sales experience, including managing multiple accounts.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, particularly engines and engine components.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to create professional business reports, correspondence, and presentations.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
