Job Description:
- Oversee and manage all production processes.
- Directly supervise and provide guidance to all production supervisors.
- Plan, develop, and execute production schedules to meet organizational goals.
- Establish, communicate, and ensure achievement of production targets and objectives.
- Monitor and adjust production schedules to align with operational demands and resources.
- Estimate production costs and develop strategies to optimize budgets.
- Manage production budgets, incorporating cost control and cost-saving measures.
- Mentor and develop production team members to enhance their skills and overall team competency.
- Optimize the use of human and material resources to achieve production targets efficiently.
- Develop, implement, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production operations.
- Analyze production workflows and quality metrics to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Initiate and oversee process improvements to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed production reports.
- Conduct timely and constructive performance reviews for all direct-report employees.
- Make strategic decisions on equipment utilization, maintenance, upgrades, and procurement.
- Uphold compliance with health and safety protocols and regulations.
- Define and monitor product quality standards to meet customer and organizational expectations.
- Implement and enforce quality control systems and tracking mechanisms to achieve quality objectives.
- Foster efficient collaboration between departments such as quality, engineering, maintenance, procurement, logistics, warehouse, and management.
- Track and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs), including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and labor hours per unit of output.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of production experience.
- 5 years of experience as a production manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with production planning, controls, and instrumentation systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of process improvement methodologies, budgeting, and production standards.
