Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable function, including billing, credit, collections, and cash applications
- Monitor customer aging reports and drive timely collections to meet cash flow goals
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to resolve invoicing and payment discrepancies
- Ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
- Maintain and reconcile AR-related general ledger accounts
- Support month-end close processes and prepare related journal entries and reporting
- Provide data and documentation for internal and external audits
- Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracy
- Supervise and mentor AR team members, providing coaching and development
- Respond to ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from management
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of accounting or AR-related experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606)
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, formulas)
- Meticulous with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Experience leading or mentoring others
- Customer service mindset and ability to manage difficult conversations professionally
- Experience using Oracle Financials or a similar ERP system
- Familiarity with Hubble/Insight Financial Reporting tools
- Experience with international customers or multi-currency AR processes
