Our certifications services cover the Global Food Safety Initiative, supplier assurance, foodservice equipment and nonfood compounds, and organic and Certified Transitional certification through Quality Assurance International (QAI). We also offer HACCP validation and inspection, label claims verification and certification, DNA and food package testing, and product and process development. Separately, we provide expert consulting, food safety training, and auditing in areas including food fraud and gap assessments, retail food safety, and brand standards.
NSF is hiring an Audit Specialist II to assist in coordinating audits and manage the planning and scheduling software to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the audit team.
Responsibilities
- Manage the use and improvement of the planning and scheduling tool to ensure standardized use globally and continuous improvement of the system.
- Identify opportunities to continually improve audit routes and resource utilization for 115 resources
- Manage improvement projects for Audit Delivery related to the Planning and Scheduling optimization tool
- Coordinate auditor schedules by effectively planning audits and trips when applicable
- Support the optimization of resource utilization for resources globally through maintaining availabilities and rules in the tool
- Identify opportunities for upskilling resources to reduce travel and build more efficient trips
- Maintain client service level agreements and monitor these KPIs for compliance
- Collaborate with other Audit Delivery Managers to ensure accurate and complete resource profiles
- Work closely with IT on the implementation of improvements and changes to the planning and scheduling optimization tool by providing clear requirements and completing user testing as needed.
- Manage training documentation
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years’ experience
- Experience managing technology platforms
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Effective decision-making skills
- Experience working on Continuous Improvement Projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
