Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, addressing their service needs.
- Accurately document customer concerns and vehicle issues, ensuring all information is captured for technicians.
- Collaborate with service technicians to diagnose problems and recommend appropriate services, including brake repair, oil changes, tire service, shocks struts, and diesel engine repair.
- Prepare detailed service estimates and communicate them clearly to customers.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain records of services performed.
- Follow up with customers regarding their vehicle status and any additional services needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Assist in automotive diagnostics as needed to support the service team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in service writing or a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in areas such as brake repair, oil changes, tire service, shocks struts, and diesel engine repair.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
- Experience in cash handling and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
