NSF is looking for a Quality Specialist I in the Labs to assist with all QA functions, foster a collaborative working environment with all laboratory and program staff, and perform internal/method audits independently.
Responsibilities
- Internal/Method Auditing
- Create and Managing Corrective Actions
- Assist in Maintaining and Improving Laboratory Metrics
- Support External Audits
- Assist with Compilation of Data for Management Review
- Assist with Creation of Laboratory Trainings
- Assist with Laboratory Investigation
- Assist with PT Administration
- Assist with Subcontracting and Acceptance of Manufacturers Data administration
- Assist with SOP review and revision
- Learn to Use Labware and assist with implementation in the Laboratory
- Suggest process improvements throughout the laboratory
- Communicate professionally both internally in the lab and with program offices.
- Follow all safety and ethics requirements.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- Bachelor’s degree in physical science or engineering or equivalent experience plus a minimum of three to
- five years of direct laboratory experience with strong technical knowledge and judgement skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to organize work and maintain workflow in an independent manner.
- Walk in with Knowledge of ISO/IEC Standards 17025, 17065, 17021, TNI 2016
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Internal Auditing Experience
- Knowledge of Conformity Assessment Requirements
