We are actively recruiting for an energetic, high-potential Shipping Associate to join our growing team. We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented individual with the ability to work well as part of a collaborative team. The Shipping Associate prepares, packages and ships products in accordance with company requirements and shipping procedures ensuring orders are processed and shipped in an accurately and timely manner. This is a full time, first shift position.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- 1-3 year previous experience shipping with UPS and FedEx Small Parcel.
- Experience scheduling trucks via LTL and PLS.
- International shipping experience is highly desirable
- Computer skills; able to learn new programs easily such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Prior experience using an ERP system a plus
- Experience tracking and resolving shipping issues with carriers.
- Conduct work in compliance with OSHA and company safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
