The Business Operations Specialist (Salesforce Administrator) Role
The Business Operations Specialist is responsible for driving efficiencies within the sales team, primarily through management of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. The role's responsibilities include maintaining the software, making improvements to workflows and page layouts, training new employees on the tool, and maximizing the tool effectiveness within the Business Unit.
Responsibilities
- Trains new users on how to use the CRM tool, specific to the user's job function. Creates reference training and material including documentation and recorded webinars.
- Manages data and information flow into the CRM through automated processes and manual loads.
- Maintains platform including managing new updates, data integrity/clean-up, and implementing and integrating additional modules.
- Creates new workflows, works with 3rd party implementation partners as necessary to develop, test and roll-out new changes to platform architecture.
- Works closely with all users to drive utilization, soliciting feedback and implementing improvements as necessary.
- Builds reports and dashboards to enable sales team members and managers to easily access data.
- Support sales operations as needed with reporting, analytics, and workflow improvements.
Qualifications
- This job requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4 to 6 years of position-related experience; preferably 6 to 8 years of position-related experience.
