ISO is in search of a Customer Service Intern to join their team at the New York City office this summer!
Responsibilities
- Assist in responding to customer inquiries via email, phone, and live chat.
- Provide guidance on health insurance plans, coverage details, and claims processes.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and feedback.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Support the development of FAQs, knowledge base articles, and customer guides.
- Stay informed on company policies, insurance regulations, and industry trends.
- Currently enrolled in a college or university.
- Fluency in English (additional languages such as Mandarin, Spanish, or Vietnamese are a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle customer interactions with professionalism and empathy.
- Basic understanding of health insurance or a willingness to learn.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software is a plus.
- Self-motivated and eager to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience in a customer service role within the insurance industry.
