Security Guard (Armed)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.

Job Requirements:

• Interacting in a professional manner with the public.
• Assist the public with directions when needed.
• Be a visible presence in the lobby area and other assigned posts.
• Immediately reporting to building alarms and equipment maintenance failures.
• Ensuring gates and fences are locked when Client facilities are closed.
• Promptly notifying appropriate Client personnel and local authorities when emergencies occur.
• Report any unsafe or dangerous conditions or circumstances to Client Representative.
• Making rounds of inspection to determine that fences, gates, doors and windows are properly working and in good condition.
• Investigating unusual or suspicious conditions or activities
• Preventing trespass on, damage to, or theft of Client property.
• Patrolling parking areas.
• Using post management system to check-in at designated checkpoints.

Compensation: Based on the shifts, job sites

Job Type: Full-time/Part time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

• 8 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Military: 4 years (Preferred)
• Security: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Guard Card (Required)
• External Carry permit (recommended)
• CPR/First Aid (recommended)
