NTN has an immediate opening in our Sales Department for an OEM Sales Engineer for our Central North Territory (Kansas, Nebraska).

Seeking a candidate with a flexible mindset to support a varied customer base that has technical interest in products that could use NTN Bearings.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain multiple contacts at major OEM accounts within the area of responsibility.
• Develop new OEM customer bearing specifications to assure NTN is preferred supplier.
• Drive new and ongoing development sales projects that will lead to profitable growth.
• Understand the factors that drive the business and accurately forecast order levels.
• Meet or exceed business target plans.
• Communicate effectively, both internally and externally - in person or via video collaboration tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BSME or similar 4-year technical undergraduate degree in a related field.
• 4 years of experience in Industrial sales to OEMs.
• Large OEM program/project management experience.
• Self-starter, with a desire to contribute to the team expediently.
• Must have excellent time management skills to work from a home office.
• Flexibility to travel up to 40% of the time.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At NTN, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
