Job Description
Truck billing, scanning loads, preparing loads for shipments, cycle counts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for 5S
- Complete BOL's either by using an RF scanner or filling out a Manual BOL
- Greet drivers at the drivers gate and check paperwork to verify delivery location
- Communicate to dock drivers of trailers that need a dock door to be off-loaded
- Communicate to dock drivers if they are reloading
- Mark product if there are any discrepancies or quality issues
- Get counts on empty returnable totes that are shipped out LTL
- Update board with truck/trailer/dock info
- Any other duties assigned by team leader, supervisor or manager
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent verbal & written communications skills
- Self-starter
- Ability to multitask
- Organizational skills
- Previous office experience preferred
- Capable of learning various software
- High School Diploma

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Lifting & Carrying: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move materials.
- Standing/Walking: Long periods of standing or walking.
- Manual Dexterity: Using tools like pallet jacks, and handling packages.
- Stamina: Endurance for extended physical activity.
- Vision: Clear vision for reading labels and inspecting items.
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in shipments and documentation.
- Organization: Managing inventory and shipping schedules.
- Problem-Solving: Addressing shipping or inventory issues.
- Time Management: Meeting tight deadlines.
- Communication: Clear interaction with team members and customers.
