NTT DATA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the design, development, and implementation of Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) and SCADA systems for a new greenfield factory. This role involves overseeing the creation and optimization of MOM and SCADA processes and workflows to support seamless production operations. The Project Manager will also manage expectations with design vendors and technology partners in China, working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implementation, and integration with other enterprise systems
- Oversee the design and implementation of MOM and SCADA solutions tailored for a greenfield manufacturing facility.
- Manage the gathering and documentation of functional requirements for MOM and SCADA systems, ensuring alignment with facility operations.
- Manage the development of detailed functional specifications and design documents for MOM and SCADA applications.
- Coordinate the development of manufacturing processes and workflows, focusing on interdependencies and triggers between different systems.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement best practices for MOM and SCADA implementation and integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, QMS, WMS, etc.).
- Oversee the development of new manufacturing processes and workflows to enable efficient production operations.
- Coordinate to define KPIs and metrics tailored for Lithium Iron Phosphate EV battery manufacturing to monitor and manage overall manufacturing and operational performance.
- Manage the training sessions and create comprehensive user documentation to ensure effective use of MOM and SCADA solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT and operations, to ensure seamless MOM and SCADA deployment and support.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in MOM and SCADA technology and manufacturing practices.
- Manage expectations with design vendors/SI partners in the U.S., India, and technology partners in China, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Work with internal business teams, external design vendors, technology partners in China, and system integration partners.
- Responsible for status reporting to client executives and manufacturing leads.
- Create and manage project plans and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee the integration of MES/MOM and SCADA systems with other enterprise systems such as EWMS, QMS, ERP, EAM, IoT, PLM, etc.
- Travel to end customer manufacturing facility at Byhalia, Mississippi, and offices at Detroit on a need basis for workshops.
- Proven end-to-end experience in managing MOM and SCADA platforms and their implementation.
- Strong understanding of system integration and the ability to develop new manufacturing processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with System Integration partners and integration architects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Production/Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in managing the design and development of manufacturing systems, with a focus on MOM and SCADA systems.
- Experience in EV battery manufacturing or related industries.
- Experience with widely used MOM and SCADA systems such as Siemens Opcenter would be a plus.
- PMP or similar project management certification would be an added benefit.
