What are the responsibilities and job description for the IS Technician-Field Service Technician position at NTT DATA?
NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Field Service Technicianto join our team in Denton, TX (travel within the DFW areas). Must be able to use personal vehicle and will receive mileage.reimbursement. This is scheduled to be a 6 month contract role.
Pay rate $25 per hour
Role Responsibilities - Worker will assist in running service calls, installing computer and printer hardware and completing annual preventative maintenance projects in stores. - Delivers technical support to field employees, assisting with resolving issues related to POS (point of sale) registers, self checkout registers, thermal printers, laser printers, scanners, servers, PCs, phone systems, networking, photo and other related computer peripherals. - Performs regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates, hardware upgrades, and equipment replacements, to ensure the smooth functioning of various systems within the store, under minimal supervision. - Integrates new technology equipment into stores, including setting up new POS terminals, configuring software, and ensuring proper connectivity. - Conducts most complex troubleshooting when technical issues arise, including diagnosing the problems and implementing appropriate solutions. - Assists in the management of maintaining accurate records of all service calls, equipment installations, and maintenance tasks performed. - Collaborates with other members of the technology team, including help desk personnel, network engineers, and software developers. - Ensures IT parts, supplies, and equipment are ready by inventorying stock and placing orders. - Support after hours, weekends and Holiday down store issues as needed. - Other dutes as assigned
Required Skills/Experience
Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED Technical degree is a plus and must be verifiable Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) preferred (nice to have)
Hours: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm. May include night or weekend work depending on Priority Calls. Expected 40 hours per week.

Required Skills/Experience
- 1 years of previous hands-on technical knowledge and experience
- 2 years working experience with MS Office, Outlook, and Excel
- 1 years hardware repair experience and the ability to lift 75lbs
