Job Details
This is a full-time position that requires 2-3 days on-site in Tampa, FL and remote work from home office for the remainder.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop data pipelines to extract data from various sources
- Collaborate with data scientists to ensure data quality and integrity
- Work with product managers to understand business objectives and requirements
- Design and develop robust architecture for cloud-based data engineering projects
- Participate in agile development methodologies and continuous integration/delivery processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 5 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on big data platforms
- Proficiency in data processing technologies such as Spark, HBase, Hive, and Java/Scala
- Experience with streaming data architectures and technologies for real-time and low-latency data processing
