We are creating markets for the safe integration of uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) into the National Airspace System, enabling scalable and economically viable drone operations in New York state and beyond.

We’re searching for an experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team and advance the future of aviation. About the Job : The Strategic Account Manager pursues and expands successful customer relationships through the full lifecycle of customer projects and engagements.  This successful candidate will display effective leadership and collaboration, detailed planning and tenacious accountability.  This role leads customer relationships and strategically important customer projects that enable the safe integration of UAS and AAM into the National Airspace System.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Establish and expand relationships with existing and new customers identifying short- and long-term opportunities
  • Develop strategic plans for long term customer engagement and revenue generation including identifying key aspects required NUAIR that need to be developed
  • Obtain, comprehend, and influence customer objectives, goals, key metrics, strategies, and plans to benefit the customer in ways recognized by the customer management and decision makers
  • Develop project plans in collaboration with NUAIR personnel that support the goals of the customer organization and address issues or improve performance in ways valued by the customer.  Present and negotiate these plans with the customer negotiating and closing these opportunities as NUAIR contracts.
  • Develop and present quotes and proposals to customer requirements such as RFPs and RFQs that are competitive and compelling.

Your Characteristics :

  • 5 – 10 years of proven success leading complex projects with a variety of customer types
  • A demonstrated capability to develop and grow deep customer relationships with key customers including municipal, state, and federal organizations
  • A demonstrated track record to plan, lead, and close successful capture efforts
  • Excellent writing skills including winning proposals
  • Strong project management skills including project plan development, early identification of cost or schedule issues, and ability to identify and resolve root cases of programmatic underperformance
  • Ability to develop and communicate capture and execution plans in complex and / or ambiguous environments
  • Basic business acumen including cost accounting, revenue recognition, and basic financial accounting principles
  • Ability to develop and communicate effective capture and growth strategies
  • Basic knowledge of aviation and the National Airspace System.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study or equivalent work experience. Advanced degree a plus.
  • Can accommodate up to 50% travel when necessary.
