Advanced Atomization Technologies seeks an experienced Strategic Operations Manager to lead a high-performing team in our operations area.
About the Role
This mid-management level position oversees multiple functions or a single function requiring significant staffing and coordination at a medium to small division. As a Strategic Operations Manager, you will be responsible for developing leadership expertise and experience by conducting performance evaluations, providing coaching, counseling, and disciplinary measures as needed.
- You will supervise a team of approximately 20-30 direct reports and maintain accurate time and attendance records.
- Develop high-performing teams through coaching on continuous improvement and respect for people.
- Perform time studies, capacity analyses, layout/product flow analyses, and standardized work.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the team to meet and exceed team metrics of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Work with value stream partners to maximize both internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and report out on key value stream metrics.
- Collaborate with fellow Operations Leaders to create a unified manufacturing team that supports overall business objectives.
Requirements
- 1 year as a Group Leader at AA TECH or 3 years of experience supervising in a manufacturing environment outside of AA TECH.
- 4 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience with formal or informal team or project leadership.
- Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree or greater.
- Hands-on experience in implementing lean techniques, including value stream mapping, 5S Safety, single-piece flow, and standard work.
- Strong understanding of quality systems.
- Demonstrate strong data collection and analysis capability.
