Nuance Solutions LLC, a Hospeco Brands Group Company, is growing and seeking a Production Manager (Filling Department) to join our Award-Winning Team! The ideal candidate will report directly to the Operations Manager and is responsible for managing all shifts of the department in a safe, secure, and efficient manner to produce a quality product and meet customers’ needs. Manage personnel, materials, and equipment to meet business needs. Operate the department within regulatory statutes and Company policies and overall Department housekeeping.
In this role, you will collaborate with Quality Control/Technical, Purchasing, Compounding, Warehouse – Shipping/Receiving, and Maintenance.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe operation of the department by internal and OSHA standards.
- Manage and train department personnel to improve individual and department performance using ISO metrics. Include development & documentation of internal operating procedures.
- Conduct department meetings. Solicit and discuss issues regarding safety, housekeeping, equipment, and productivity.
- Evaluate department personnel with regular performance reviews.
- Ensure proper maintenance and operation of the department’s equipment and building structure.
- Manage the execution of the daily filling schedule to ensure on-time delivery to our customers.
- Manage the schedule of personnel based on production needs.
- Review and submit employees’ weekly timecard reports including Agency employees.
- Manage the relationship with the Employment Agencies to maintain proper crewing.
- Manage and evaluate the overall line efficiencies. Recommend and execute changes to increase efficiency and contain labor costs. Manage and control all department internal rework.
- Manage shop orders. Ensure proper recording, QC checks and scrap.
- Inventory is kept in a safe and organized manner. Ensure timely receipts of materials where applicable.
- Manage the release of all wastewaters in the department. Understand the workings of the wastewater system and its operation.
- General security of filling area.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum three years supervisory experience and/or training required.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and understand English and Spanish. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish with the ability to communicate effectively with employees and customers in both languages.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems related to compounding procedures.
Computer Skills:
Basic computer skills. A general knowledge of MS Office; Outlook, Word and Excel. On-the-job training where necessary.
Certificates and Licenses:

A minimum of three years Supervising filling department personnel.

The Production Manager position is a full-time exempt position, a 40 plus hours work per week is required, Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Salary Range is between $60,000 to $70,00.00: Compensation is commensurate with experience.
