We are currently seeking an Accounting Office Manager to join our team and oversee the daily financial operations of our dealership.
As the Accounting Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all accounting processes. You'll supervise the accounting team, manage day-to-day financial operations, and lead your team to greater levels of success.
We are looking for a self-motivated top performer with a detail oriented approach to daily responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles. This position reports directly to the Controller/Corporate Office.
What you'll do:
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff; manage workflow and performance.
- Assist in timely and complete monthly and year-end financial statements in accordance with GAAP and manufacturer guidelines.
- Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and daily financial controls.
- Attain familiarity with every position and responsibilities within the accounting office.
- Collaborate with department managers to support budgeting, forecasting, and inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience.
- Prior automotive office and accounting software experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite of products and Google Docs
- Exposure to Reynolds & Reynolds dealer management system a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams and work cross-functionally with various levels of management.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent organizational and follow up skills
- Ability to coach, lead, mentor and interact with staff

- Automotive Car Dealership: 2 years (Required)
- Accounting: 3 years (Required)
- Reynolds & Reynolds DMS System: 2 years (Preferred)
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
