We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Automotive General Sales Manager to join our team.

Position Overview:
The Automotive General Sales Manager (GSM) will oversee and manage the entire sales department to drive profitability and sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in automotive sales management, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering a superior customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve dealership goals.
  • Oversee daily operations of the sales department, ensuring efficiency and smooth workflow.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring proper pricing and vehicle selection for customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the finance and service departments to ensure smooth transaction processes.
  • Analyze sales reports, market trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor and manage sales staff performance, provide training and development, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a passion for coaching and developing a sales team.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry trends, pricing, and sales strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
