Position Overview :
The Automotive General Sales Manager (GSM) will oversee and manage the entire sales department to drive profitability and sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in automotive sales management, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering a superior customer experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve dealership goals.
- Oversee daily operations of the sales department, ensuring efficiency and smooth workflow.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring proper pricing and vehicle selection for customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with the finance and service departments to ensure smooth transaction processes.
- Analyze sales reports, market trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor and manage sales staff performance, provide training and development, and ensure compliance with company policies.
