Job Summary:
NuCara is currently seeking a full-time Floating Pharmacist (32 to 40 hours per week) to support our retail and telepharmacy operations. This position is primarily based at our Valley City, ND location, with additional coverage-either on-site or via telepharmacy-at other NuCara locations as needed, including Lisbon, ND; Bowman, ND; Walhalla, ND; and Hawley, MN.
This role provides comprehensive coverage in retail pharmacy. Responsibilities include administering vaccinations, overseeing retail and telepharmacy operations, and ensuring safe and effective medication therapy. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations and assist in supervising pharmacy technicians and support staff.
- Leverage available technologies, including computer systems and databases to enhance pharmaceutical care.
- Maintain adherence to all regulatory standards, professional guidelines, and company policies while delivering pharmaceutical care.
- Performing pharmacist duties for telepharmacy services at NuCara Pharmacy, encompassing all associated responsibilities and tasks.
Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, a high level of motivation, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. They must also be able to efficiently utilize available resources to provide optimal patient care.
Position Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy required.
- Current North Dakota pharmacy license by starting date.
- A non-resident Minnesota pharmacist license for telepharmacy and on-site pharmacy duties (required 3 months post hire).
- 2 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Our pharmacies observe closure on Saturdays, Sundays, and all major holidays. Staffing follows regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
