Job Summary
Nucoat is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Coatings Application Support Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring coating products meet the highest performance standards, optimizing their application through rigorous in-house testing. This position will oversee customer-related testing, equipment evaluations, and process improvements with some travel required to support client needs.
- Lead and execute all in-house testing to validate product performance for customer applications.
- Develop and implement testing protocols to ensure consistency and efficiency in application processes.
- Maintain and optimize spray equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable test results.
- Document findings and provide actionable recommendations to customers and internal teams.
Customer Support & Process Optimization:
- Serve as the primary technical expert for in-house product evaluations and customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to translate testing insights into real-world solutions.
- Provide technical training and demonstrations for internal teams and key customers.
Equipment Evaluation & Application Strategy:
- Partner with customers to optimize spray equipment settings and ensure best-in-class performance.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry advancements and integrate new technologies into testing practices.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in application testing, technical service, or a senior-level customer support role in coatings, manufacturing, or a related industry.
- Hands-on experience with spray equipment, application processes, and coating technologies is essential.
- Previous experience leading technical teams or managing testing operations is highly preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
