Job Summary:
The Environmental Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, improving process efficiency, and maintaining a safe working environment at our facilities. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate compliance with permits, rules, and regulations related to environmental protection.
- Lead process improvement projects in wastewater treatment plants and other areas of concern.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve ISO 14001 management goals.
- Maintain required plans, documentation, and records related to environmental compliance.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to promote environmental awareness and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- At least three years of experience in environmental compliance, air pollution control, waste management, and/or wastewater treatment operations.
- Demonstrable knowledge of environmental regulations (air, water, EPCRA, DOT, and hazardous waste).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in environmental compliance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Implementation and maintenance of an ISO 14001 or equivalent EMS.
