Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a culture of safety among team members on our site.
- Develop and implement safety policies, ensuring OSHA compliance and recommending best practices.
- Assist in creating programs such as safety training, focus groups, behavior-based safety initiatives, and industrial hygiene protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and health metrics.
- Analyze data trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least two years of experience in an industrial setting, applying safety policies and developing loss prevention programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASP designation (able to obtain within 180 days).
- EMT, NFPA I081 certification, or other Emergency Response Certification.
- Leadership experience in Safety and Wellness, with a proven track record of planning, developing, and implementing successful safety programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, VPP, and ISO 45001 standards, protocols, and compliance procedures.
