Basic Job Functions:
Perform administrative support at a basic operational level regarding essential functions necessary for Sales and Estimating teams.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Assist with answering phones and general office administration.- Assist sales/estimating staff in preparation of sales bids and project quotations, contract document flow, and opportunity tracking.
- Assist with sales follow-up and reporting.
- Adhere to Nucor Rebar Fabrication’s safety programs and standards.
- Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor Rebar Fabrication’s vision and values.
- Develop exceptional working relationships with customers (internal & external) and vendors.
- Prepare and record necessary paperwork.
- Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Physical Demands
- Physical demands of Walking, sitting, standing, bending.
- Some lifting/handling computers and related equipment.
- You’ll use your hands to operate objects, tools, computers, and other electronic equipment.
- Vision abilities including close vision and adjusting focus.
