Perform a variety of HR duties and responsibilities while assisting other members of the HR team through multiple deliverables in a wide variety of areas.
Basic Job Functions:
- Must adhere to Nucor Rebar Fabrication’s safety programs and standards.
- Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor Rebar Fabrication’s vision and values.
- Oversee teammate onboarding process as well as entry of all documentation for new employee setup into payroll system (HRIS).
- Provide recruitment support including position requisition process and Applicant Tracking System support
- Respond to questions from all levels of employees regarding company policy. Follow-up on issues to resolve specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries.
- Assist with communication/distribution of all pertinent HR information to US North branches
- Assist with external and internal audits on HR/payroll data to ensure data integrity.
- Perform specific research/investigation into HR best practices as assigned.
- Backup to the Administrative Assistant
- Assist with the planning of special projects and events
- Perform other related duties as required by Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Associate’s degree in related field of study and 3 years’ Human Resources experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience with Canva and Blue Beam
- Experience with multi-location/state employer
- Experience with Dayforce and SAP/Success Factors
- Must be able to work overtime when required
- Some travel may be required

- Vision abilities include close vision and adjusting focus.
