Basic Job Functions :
Nucor Steel, Louisiana, LLC is looking for an HR Coordinator whose primary responsibility will be to focus on community outreach, branding, and marketing. The ideal candidate will be integral to the HR team, coordinating and providing program plans and ensuring smooth HR operations. You will also learn how your efforts contribute to Nucor's business practices and profitability as a Fortune 100 company. The HR Coordinator's essential job functions include, but are not limited to :
- Payroll Administration :
Responsible for processing pre-payroll and overseeing payroll administration tasks, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in collaboration with the payroll / accounting department.
Assist in recruitment by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews and onboarding
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to employee documentation.
Assist employees with inquiries related to benefits programs.
Coordinate open enrollment processes and manage the benefit administration portal.
Assist with and Coordinate training sessions and workshops for teammate development.
Stay informed about labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
Assist in ensuring the organization's compliance with relevant laws and policies.
Support and assist the performance management processes
Generate HR reports when requested.
Communicate HR-related information to teammates and leadership.
Assist in internal communication initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications :
A degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; however, four years of equivalent experience will also be considered.
Must be able to work onsite in Convent, LA
Available during office hours (7 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.) , peak operational hours (6 : 00 a.m. to 6 : 00 p.m.) and weekend hours based on operational needs Nucor Steel Louisiana LLC
