Basic Job Functions:
- Assist with all weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly closings
- Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures complying with federal, state and local financial legal requirements and Nucor accounting policies
- Accounts Payable-process accounts and daily payables in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying and recording accounts payable data
- Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Accounts Payable-process inter-company account payable transactions
- General Ledger-maintain select general ledger accounts reconciliations
- Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing job responsibilities
- Performs other duties as assigned and needed by the Accounting Department.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 2-3 years of accounting experience.
- ERP experience.
- Accounts Payable experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA or CMA.
- Manufacturing Experience
- Working knowledge Microsoft Dynamics 365.
