An IT Operations Team Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating projects within the divisions, building and maintaining relationships with all departments, and working with key stakeholders to establish priorities, budgets, and communication to ensure their needs are being met.
They are also responsible for providing technical support to both remote and on-site end users. Responsibilities may include:
- Implementation, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software and applications
- Troubleshooting and maintaining IT infrastructure equipment such as computers, laptops, phones, printers, conference rooms, servers, access control systems, and network devices.
- Procuring, setting up, configuring, distributing, and troubleshooting mobile devices, and creating and supporting user account and group membership setups.
- Development of teammates such as support, encourage, and hold their teammates accountable for their work, helping those teammates meet and exceed expectations including opportunities for training and growth, as well as regular feedback and performance evaluations.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years technical experience in an Operations/Infrastructure capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems or other technology focused discipline (Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree)
- Experience with Project Management / Contract Management
- Experience leading and developing a team
- Experience in software licensing, purchasing computer equipment and services, managing contracts, and vendors.
- Experince utilizing Azure DevOps as a Project Management system
- Experience in a Customer Service Role
- Manufacturing-related IT experience, with a preference for process-related industries similar to the steel
- Certifications:
- Certified Scrum Master
- Azure AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
- Azure AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator
- Azure AZ-040T00-A: Automating Administration with PowerShell
- Azure AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
- Terraform Foundations
