Job Summary:
- Oversee all environmental responsibilities, permitting, compliance, environmental control systems, and plant water operations.
- Lead a team to deliver on the commitment to become the world's safest steel company and achieve operational performance necessary to meet commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Leadership: Demonstrate ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
- Team Empowerment: Establish a clear vision and strategy and empower the team to execute and meet all objectives in safety, quality, costs, productivity, profitability, and environment.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively throughout the division leadership team to inspire the entire operation.
Requirements:
- Minimum Qualifications: Three years of environmental leadership experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Four-year degree or equivalent, experience with regulatory compliance as well as environmental permitting; local, state and federal government relations and stakeholder management.
