About the Role
We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media & Digital Intern to support our campaign's online presence and digital outreach efforts. This internship is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about social media, content creation, and digital strategy to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced campaign environment.
Key Responsibilities Social Media Management
Assist in creating and scheduling content for campaign social media channels (Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
Monitor engagement and respond to comments, messages, and mentions.
Track analytics and provide insights on social media performance.
Content Creation
Design graphics, write captions, and edit short-form videos to amplify campaign messaging.
Assist in developing creative ways to engage supporters online.
Help maintain a consistent and compelling brand voice across platforms.
Digital Outreach & Strategy
Support email and SMS outreach efforts to engage volunteers and voters.
Research digital trends and provide recommendations for campaign engagement.
Assist in developing digital organizing strategies to increase supporter engagement.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
Experience with graphic design tools (Adobe Suite, Canva, etc.) and video editing software is a plus.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for social media, digital organizing, and political campaigns.
Compensation & Details
Pay : Paid internship
14.00-$16.00 hourly. (rate based on experience).
Hours : Flexible, approximately 10-15 hours per week.
Location : In-person, must be located in Albuquerque, NM or drivable surrounding area.
Start Date : TBD, with a minimum commitment of 6-months.
