Based in Alsip, IL Nufarm is looking for an Administrative Assistant / Receptionist that will be responsible for greeting and directing visitors and contractors appropriately, answering the phone, managing conference schedules, paperwork, and filing, ordering catering, car service, and supplies, administrative responsibilities, and any other projects as they arise.
What will you be doing?
- Greet visitors and contractors related to the office and or manufacturing facility and ensure site safety rules are communicated.
- Maintain a clean and professional foyer and lobby area.
- Receive daily mail and sort into appropriate mailboxes.
- Manage inbound phone calls to facility if not directed to an extension.
- Maintain inventories of office and kitchen supplies.
- Stock both kitchens every morning and empty dishwashers.
- Order the catering for all internal meetings.
- Manage security card badges for the Alsip facility.
- Experience with an ordering system, such as Ariba (not mandatory)
- Set up and submit company invoices to AP.
- Production data entry on request.
- Manage company pool vehicle reservations in Outlook and distribute the keys.
- Maintain the conference rooms and have them ready for meetings on a daily basis.
- Ability to work in the office 5 days a week.
- Other duties as assigned.
What do you bring?
You have at least 2 years of proven experience as an administrative support role, greeting visitors, answering phones, filing, expense tracking, managing schedules, event planning, travel arrangements, and other general administrative activities. Additionally, you will establish and maintain a positive working relationship with employees at all levels within the organization.
What do we offer?
Our compensation structure is designed to reflect the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base salary for this position ranges from $40,000 per year in our lowest geographic market to $65,000 per year in our highest geographic market. Compensation is determined by several factors, including market location, and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
