Based in Morrisville, NC, Nufarm is looking for a Label Specialist who will serve as the primary Regulatory point of contact for Nufarm’s commercial label development and revision process, overseeing market driven and/or EPA and/or PMRA regulatory driven changes. The Label Specialist will also maintain a label repository of approved commercial labels and utilize software driven tools to keep repository current. The Label Specialist will interface with the Federal Regulatory Managers and the State Regulatory Manager to ensure newly approved labelling is properly submitted to state agencies, EPA and PMRA when required.
What will you be doing?
Coordinate product label and carton design while verifying that commercial labels and carton designs meet all applicable safety and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate effectively with Manufacturing & Purchasing to ensure that proper labelling is available to meet Regulatory submission or production schedules.
Work alongside Regulatory, Commercial, and Marketing colleagues to ensure commercial label and carton content and artwork is EPA or PMRA compliant and suitable for business to customer and business to business labels. Coordinate commercial label reviews across functional teams to ensure organizational visibility and alignment.
Ensure timely commercial label reviews for pending P.O.’s for production, oversee and track existing label inventory, and assist business group with planning and label ordering. Assist with disposal procedures of out of compliance materials.
Maintain accurate records and database entries for artwork versions and changes. Demonstrate a flexible, supportive approach towards addressing prioritization of label workload schedules and adjust in reaction to schedule shifts.
Communicate the status of commercial label and carton updates to stakeholders, effectively identifying solutions to meet their needs.
Coordinate with customer contacts to ensure label compliance and availability for sub-registered and tolled products.
What do you bring?
You hold a college degree in life sciences or agriculture related field along with excellent organizational skills and possess strong experience with related software applications such as: Adobe Software (Acrobat Professional), MS Office, and Docuproof. The ideal candidate will have experience working collaboratively across multiple business units, particularly between Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Commercial functions.

Our compensation structure is designed to reflect the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base salary for this position ranges from $42,100 per year in our lowest geographic market to $70,000 per year in our highest geographic market. Compensation is determined by several factors, including market location, and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
