Job Overview :
We are looking for a CAD Drafter to join our team and assist in creating detailed technical drawings and plans for various projects. The ideal candidate will be proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software and have the ability to interpret and translate design concepts into precise and accurate drawings. This role involves working closely with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure that all project specifications are met.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create and revise technical drawings and schematics using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Interpret rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other data to create accurate CAD models.
- Work with engineers and designers to ensure the drawings meet project specifications and requirements.
- Maintain and update drawings and files as changes are made during the project lifecycle.
- Produce drawings for various project stages, including concept, design, and construction.
- Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards and client requirements.
- Collaborate with other team members to review designs and address potential issues.
- Prepare bill of materials (BOM) or parts lists for design projects.
- Create 3D models and visualizations to assist in the presentation and planning phases.
- Organize and maintain CAD files, ensuring they are easily accessible and up-to-date.
- Ensure that all drawings adhere to applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
