Job Title : IT Auditor Location : Chicago, IL, Onsite Rate : Best competitive rate Lead local candidates only PROJECT DETAILS JOB DESCRIPTION Audit internal controls and evaluate risks related to the Bureau / Department's technology infrastructure. Review newly developed or acquired information systems and existing automated accounting systems and test the resulting systems for efficiency and reliability. Provide input to the Bureau / Department for the development of an annual Information Technology (IT) audit plan. Establish procedures for auditing automated systems. Monitor compliance with information system policies to ensure adequate provision for information system control and security. Collaborate with other staff regarding automated systems. Develop training sessions, enabling others to keep abreast of IT audit issues. Consult more senior staff and leadership for highly complex and diverse issues and challenges.
