What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Manager position at Nuleaf Lawn Care?
Position Summary
Nuleaf Lawn Care is looking for Territory Managers to provide service and solutions for our customer’s lawns. This individual is responsible for a territory and will lead a team of 3 to 5 individuals within the territory. They will work closely with the production manager. They will be responsible for leading the route managers and turf technicians along with making sure new hires have been trained properly and passed internal tests. They are continually learning and dedicated to continuing education in business and the studies of turf grass management. This position is responsible for servicing residential and commercial customers providing proper turf treatments, diagnostics reports, along with providing the highest quality customer service in the industry.
This individual will show attention to detail and effectively communicate with colleagues and customers. All employees will possess a friendly, customer service minded attitude and will conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.

Objectives
Provide service in a specific route and provide proper and timely turf applications using power equipment and hand equipment.
Provide customers with thorough inspections and evaluations of the lawn and landscape and provide solutions and reports.
Responsible for mixing and applying pesticides and fertilizers according to diagnosis, label instructions, and best management practices.
Utilize our software on a mobile device for routing and documenting work completed while taking pictures and entering notes.
Comply with all state and federal regulations, company policies and procedures.
Interact with clients while promoting our core values and mission.
Continue to update job knowledge and work with team members to ensure we are working according to the best management practices.
Selling or upselling Services to existing customers and prospects.

Education and Experience
Territory Managers must have a minimum of two years’ experience in the lawn care industry. These individuals have been turf technicians or route managers and have proven proficiency at higher levels. They excel in both job knowledge and possesses the understanding of internal business practices and customer service. They must hold a current registered technician license or a commercial pesticide applicators license along with a fertilizer license. Must have a good driving record and maintain a good driving record for consideration and employment.
Physical Requirements
Position involves, walking, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, pushing, lifting, carrying and moving objects up to 50 pounds.
