NuMark Building Corp is currently hiring a part-time payroll clerk/office assistant to work 8 hours a day on Mondays and Wednesdays. Join a family-owned company with a relaxed and supportive team in the post frame building industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with answering phones and greeting customers.
- Enter, maintain and/or process information in payroll system; may include hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave, holidays, deductions, withholdings and other information.
- Ensure proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits and other deductions.
- Issue or reissue, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors or reimbursements.
- Electronically disperse weekly paystubs.
- Record and process federal and state payroll tax deposits.
- May assist with other basic office tasks as time allows such as filing or scanning documents, organizing credit card receipts, etc.
