Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Assistant to oversee the daily operations of our busy Tax office. This position is NOT remote work!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient administrative processes, managing office resources, and providing support to management. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling incoming calls.
- Schedule client appointments.
- Oversee clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office records.
- Supervise administrative staff and coordinate their activities to ensure smooth office operations.
- Accurately enter bookkeeping for our client base.
- Implement and maintain efficient office procedures to enhance productivity.
- Utilize phone systems effectively for communication with clients and administrative staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in clerical duties including filing systems and document management.
- Ability to work with administrative staff effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Experience in using office software applications (e.g., Excel, Quickbooks and Microsoft Office Suite) is a plus.
